After entering, turn left and loot the nearby chest to get two more Tinderboxes. Before backtracking, enter the back area beyond this room. Daniel will receive a nice sanity boost after picking up the rod as well. On the desk nearby, grab the Elevator Machine Instructions and the Flow Cycle Rod right next to it. Turn right upon entering, and grab some oil from the Oil Barrel. Upon entering, the desk in the back right corner has a Memory Capsule sitting on it be sure to grab it. Eventually, you will reach a window that is completely busted open. As you get further down the ledges, Daniel will here nearby trees snapping and will lose some sanity. You should be able to make the gap by jumping with the normal walking speed, but sprint-jumping doesn't hurt. Turn to your right, and start jumping across the ledges. Jump out the window, and grab the Tinderbox right on the ledge you're standing on.
After shattering the window, Daniel will receive a sanity boost.
To break it, simply grab any object nearby and throw it at the glass. As it happens, this window is the one that cracked.
Before progressing, pick up the Oil in front of the leftmost window.

Back track the windows again.Īs you near the windows, you'll hear a growl outside and the glass of one of the nearby windows will crack. And that's all the items in this small area. After reading the note, the desk in the middle of the room has a Tinderbox in its middle drawer. Turn right as you enter, and pick up the Anatomy Frontiers note sitting on the small desk in the corner. After reading the note, enter the room further in the back. After the flashback, grab the Animal Experiment note on the large table taking up most of the room. Upon entering, Daniel will receive a flashback of Alexander killing some dogs. Back track slightly to the section with windows and enter the side room nearby. As you approach this collapse, Daniel will write a Memento noting to find another way past it. If you keep following the hall beyond the long row of windows, you'll find that another collapse is blocking the way forward. After collecting these items, exit the room and continue down the hall. Further back on the same side of the room, open the chest on the floor and grab the lone Tinderbox hiding inside.
